In the last step you can add some shading to your tree to define the textures or add some colour to add more realistic textures and tone, particularly on the leaves and the bark of the tree. Temperatures are getting more comfortable this week and daylight stays longer. The season for afternoon and evening excursions is near. In coming days I want to do a couple of drawing studies on twigs and branches.The beginning is made with a stack of apple tree timber on a meadow. I started with a slow, controlled hand to draw the outline of some cut twigs. The dark shape was good to see against a bright background. Also the sun helped to see the volume of the twigs too.

I started to draw the pine tree from the top. At first the shape of the tree top was drawn as outline. I looked at the tree ,not at my paper and followed the outline I could see against the light sky. That is called blind drawing,if you don´t know about this check the link.

When creating my artwork, the trees and foliage become an integral part of the landscape. How the trees, grass and foliage are represented in a drawing have a direct impact on the entire mood of the drawing. In figuring out to draw trees myself, I discovered some references that provided me with an excellent foundation to developing my own style. The most influential and important reference that I can recommend is
- Most trees will flair out just as they meet the ground. Emphasizing this flare, and avoiding drawing the tree trunk straight, will give the tree a good base.
- Remember that trees are actually a cylinder in shape. The shading should represent a cylindrical object. Also the bark of the tree will gradually get more dense on the edges as it wraps itself around the tree. (See sample below).

Tips and Ideas on learn to draw tree with branches and flowers
First, Sketch out the Outline of Pikachu’s head and torso. If you look at Pikachu closely, you will be able to see that his head is the shape of a rectangle with curved corners. Pikachu’s torso is the shape of a square with curved corners. Look carefully at the proportions (size of the head in comparison to his torso) of Pikachu’s head in comparison to his torso (body). 
Let’s now draw Pikachu from this sample picture. I think its pose is cute enough and I hope you’ll like it. Observe the outlines for a while, curves of the body, position of legs, hands, and ears.

First Step – A Couple Circles Will Do the Trick Just Fine Viewed at a 3/4 angle – this character is still very simple to draw. As I mentioned up top – looking somewhat like a rabbit, you can sketch out the ears and limbs ahead of time to help you bring the structure into view…
